课程描述：
本课程探讨微生物病原体,特别是那些感染人类的微生物病原体与环境和各种宿主相互作用的分子基础，重点介绍具有全球和医学意义的细菌性病原体。本课程将特别强调利用分子生物学方法研究细菌传染病的发病机制以及生物技术的应用，包括疫苗的研制等。同时，结合我国抗击新冠的实践，突出我国社会主义制度在对抗灾害面前的优越性，强调我党以人民为中心的执政理念，增强学生的爱国主义情感。
This course examines the molecular basis of interactions of microbial pathogens with their environment and various hosts, especially those which infect humans. Bacterial pathogens of global and medical significance will be highlighted. Particular emphasis is given to the use of molecular biological approaches for study of bacterial infectious disease pathogenesis, and biotechnological applications, including vaccine development, will also be highlighted.
