On July 21, 2025, Li Minming, Vice Dean of College of Computing at City University of Hong Kong, and Tian Xianzhong, Assistant Dean of City University of Hong Kong Qingdao Research Institute, visited Haide College. Ma Yuhong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Haide College, Dong Ping, Deputy Dean, and Yu Fanqianhui, Director of the Teaching Affairs Office, accompanied the visit.

Vice Dean Li Minming and the delegation visited the college's culture wall, Chinese and Western-style academic lecture halls, students' practical innovation activity rooms and other campus facilities, and learned about the college's development history, as well as its management and operation.

At the discussion forum, Ma Yuhong extended a warm welcome to the delegation from City University of Hong Kong, and expressed sincere gratitude for their care and support for the development of Haide College on the basis of the previous cooperation between the two universities. Dong Ping introduced Haide College's development process, achievements in talent cultivation, cooperation with the University of Adelaide and long-term development plan. Li Minming introduced the joint education framework of City University of Hong Kong, as well as the basic overview of its Department of Computer Science and Qingdao Research Institute. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on joint student training, high-quality resource sharing, and academic cooperation.
