A Series of Activitiesof StudyingAbroad in Australia

In the summer of 2023,35 students from HaideCollege will go to the University of Adelaide in Australia to study abroad through the “2 + 2 ” and “ 3 + 2 ” programs. In order to further improve students' overseas adaptability and help students study abroad safely and smoothly, HaideCollege has held a series of pre-trip guidance activities to provide continuous services and escort the new journey.

Before the line guidance, do everything

On June 1st, the “2 + 2 ” and “ 3 + 2 ”  project student pre-trip guidance meeting was held first. In guidance meeting, the college invited to the university of Adelaide related teachers, and Australia education management group teachers, for the students to study in Australia and study in Australia, including preparation, admission materials, luggage, customs clearance procedures such as matters needing attention, to help students to more fully understand the relevant requirements and process, thus more smoothly to complete the formalities and preparation, successfully complete the transition of the environment at home and abroad.

Safe new journey, study abroad and start again

On June 8th, the Ministry of Education's pre-trip Safe Study abroad training conference was successfully held.Safe Study abroad pre-trip training is a public welfare training activity launched by the Ministry of Education to escort overseas students. It aims to make students who study abroad get practical skills and adapt to overseas life as soon as possible, which reflects the care and attention of the Party and the country to those study abroad. In the training, the students learned including overseas consular protection, security skills, psychological and daily health care, academic preparation and overseas learning life considerations such as content, to better grasp the personal safety and health protection knowledge and skills, improve the safety awareness and self-protection ability, for safe open overseas study life to lay a solid foundation.

Goto the world, set sail

On June 19th, HaideCollege held a farewell party for “2 + 2 ” and “ 3 + 2 ” projects in the Western Lecture Hall of Xingzhi Building. Qin Xianghai, Secretary of the Party Committee of Haide College, Yu Dehua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President, Zhang Lijie, Vice President, Jia Tengfei, Guo Chunning, Secretary of Student Affairs, counselors Zhai Yongqing and Zhu Xinlei attended the event, which was presided over by Li Xiaotong, Secretary of the Youth League Committee.

During the activity, Qin Xianghai congratulated all the students who had successfully completed the relevant studies and obtained the qualification of the University of Adelaide, and encouraged the students to cultivate the mind of embracing all rivers and the style of taking far, aim high and care for the country, and successfully study abroad, healthily and safely. Zhang Lijie took his experience of studying abroad in Japan as an example to emphasize the importance of adapting to the new environment. She believes that these experiences of studying overseas will become valuable wealth in life, and encourages students not to be afraid to face problems. HaideCollege will always be a strong backing for students.

Studying abroad in Australia is a very important life experience for many students, full of freshness and challenges. A series of pre-trip guidance activities not only provided students with necessary information and help, but also conveyed the care and blessing of HaideCollege to every student. All along, focusing on the goal of international talent training, HaideCollege has regularly held special lectures on international education, Q& A meetings for overseas study programs and other activities, closely follow the working hours for students to study overseas, and provide continuous services for students, so that students can feel inseparable from leaving school and love across the sea.

This must cherish the country, do not forget the spring breeze rain. For every Haidestudent, the school and the college will always be a strong backing and a warm harbor, and the teachers will always be the most cordial family members.
