Haide College's pre-departure guidance for “2+2” and “ 3+2 ”students was successfully held

On June 1, 2023, Haide College held a pre-departure guidance for  “2+2” and “ 3+2 ”students in the Western lecture Hall of Xingzhi Building to provide relevant guidance for students who are going to study at the University of Adelaide. Relevant teachers from the University of Adelaide and teachers from the Australian Education Management Group participated in this activity online. The activity was hosted by Ms Chunning Guo, Student Affairs Secretary of Haide College.

First of all, Shawna Hooton, a teacher from the University of Adelaide's Student Affairs Office, introduced the students to the issues related to studying in Australia, including the preparation, admission materials, luggage, customs clearance and other matters that students are concerned about. In addition, Shawna Hooton further introduced the student services and support upon arrival, and shared with students the course selection arrangements, campus registration and other information. Upon arrival in Adelaide, students will have the opportunity to attend a welcome party and meet their senior students. In the future, you can also participate in various language and cultural activities, deeply communicate with Australian locals, enrich your study life, and explore the charm of Adelaide.

Next, the students watched a video recorded by Zoe Zhao, a teacher from the Australian Education Management Group, which included tips on immigration, overseas safety and studying abroad. Ariel Huo, a teacher from the University of Adelaide, answered the questions about life in Australia in detail, and asked students to make flight reservations, accommodation reservations and other preparations before leaving.

This pre-departure guide will provide detailed guidance for students who are about to study in the University of Adelaide, to help you further understand the important matters of study in Australia, and make full preparation.
