Life in the Academy |Counselor Appointment series of activities - Desert Gold Digging phase II successfully concluded!

In order to enrich students' extracurricular life and improve their ability of teamwork and group decision making, HaideCollege held the Desert Gold Digging activity on May 21, 2023. Li Xiaotong, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of HaideCollege, served as the main trainer of this activity.

At nine o 'clock in the morning, the students gathered in the Western lecture hall of Xingzhi Building. First, Li Xiaotong introduced the rules of the game. The students grouped themselves into expedition teams to design and think about the procurement plan at the base camp.

After completing the procurement in the base camp, the main trainer issued the starting instruction, and the teams formally set foot on the desert gold digging trip. During the game, students obtain wealth by mining gold mines, trading commodities and other ways, but also need to consider the weather, market supply and demand, price fluctuations and other factors, in order to get the maximum profit.

During the 25-day desert trip, there were both intense and exciting team competition and mutually beneficial team cooperation. Finally, all the teams successfully returned to the base camp and completed the activity successfully.

This counselor's Date enriched the students' after-school cultural life through a lively and interesting desert digging gold activity, which allowed them to develop reasonable economic strategies while learning how to cooperate with others and win together in cooperation. I hope that through this activity, students can enhance the spirit of exploration and cooperation, strengthen the communication between each other, and apply these experiences to their future study and life.
