Student activity | The student organization of Haide College held presidium defense

On the afternoon of May 18th, the student organization of Haide College held the defense of the change of presidium in the Western-style lecture hall of Xingzhi Building. All the counselors of Haide College, representatives of class teachers, current presidium members and representatives of student organizations attended the defense.

Before the activity began, Li Xiaotong, secretary of the Youth League Committee of Haide College, affirmed the work achievements since everyone participated in the student organization, and put forward higher requirements for the candidates from two aspects of study and life, asking everyone to strengthen internal construction and external contact, think what students want, understand what students need, and be a role model for students.

A total of 27 candidates ran for the presidium of three student organizations: the Student Union, the New Media Center and the Student Self-Management Committee. The defense is divided into two parts: personal statement, question and answer. The candidates have clear ideas and clear plans. During the presentation process, they reviewed their work experience and achievements in the past year, and put forward many innovative ideas and schemes for the further development of the student organization based on their own thinking.

After the candidates' speeches, the judges asked a series of targeted questions based on their statements. The candidates faced these problems calmly and eloquently, showing their excellent adaptability, logical thinking ability and language expression ability.

The successful defense of the presidium of the student organization of Haide College not only shows the candidates' good spirit of taking responsibility and daring to develop, but also further arouses the students' enthusiasm to participate in the student organization work of the college, and lays a solid foundation for the orderly development of the student work in the future. Regardless of the outcome of the final election, I believe that the new members of the Student Organization Bureau will better serve the students and lead the Haide College Student Organization to continue to forge ahead.
