Haide College Holds a Tea Party titled "Chatting Homely Stories - My Anticipated Study Abroad Life"

In order to help students participating in the study abroad program at the University of Adelaide in 2023 to learn more about their future studies and life, to establish a connection with the University as soon as possible, to remove their worries and to plan their new life early, Haide College organised the Gossip - What I'm looking forward to about my study abroad life A tea party. The event was hosted by Li Xiaotong, Secretary of the Haide College Committee, and attended by Associate Professor Ding Boyin, Academic Director of Haide College, University of Adelaide, Miss Kimberley McLean, Lecturer in the School of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology, University of Adelaide, Yu Zhen, Director of the AEMG Haide College Program Division, Zhai Yongqing, full-time Haide College Counsellor, Guo Chunning, Student Affairs Secretary, and Kong Haipu and Zuo Yiru attended the event.

We all watched a short video recorded by the first batch of students who studied at the University of Adelaide. In the video, the Class of 2020 students, who have been studying at the University for almost a year, introduced all aspects of life at the University and expressed their welcome and expectations for the upcoming students.

In his speech, Ding Bo Yin expressed his enthusiasm to welcome the students to study at the University. Kimberley McLean introduced herself to the students and told them about her own experiences at the University, wishing them a wonderful experience at the University.

During the interactive session, students introduced themselves in turn and had a relaxed and pleasant exchange with the teachers. The teachers were kind enough to ask the students about their living habits, hobbies and future plans, and to offer the most sincere and heartfelt advice on issues such as accommodation, courses, prices, couriers and travel.

Li Xiaotong expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the teachers for their kind answers and wished the students who will be studying at UAE the best of luck in making their way in a foreign country and making further progress!

The event came to a successful conclusion with a joyful exchange of ideas. In the future, Haide College will continue to uphold the genuine desire to serve students and promote the cause of Sino-foreign cooperative education to new heights.
