Haide College Conducts Research Work in Universities in Chongqing

In order to further study and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the spirit of the 11th Party Congress of the university, and to promote the exploration and innovation of the college's operation and management system mechanism and the international talent training model, Qin Shanghai, Secretary of the Party Committee of Haide College of Ocean University of China, and Wang Min, Dean of Haide College of Ocean University of China, went to the Westa College of Southwest University and Chongqing University - University of Cincinnati Joint College to carry out research work from April 23rd to 24th.

In the afternoon of April 23, the research team went to the Southwest University's Westa College to carry out research and study. Wang Jing, Secretary of the Party Committee of Westa College, pointed out in the seminar that Westa College and Haide College are both Sino-Australian cooperative institutions, and it is especially important to communicate and learn from each other in the process of development. Zhang Jun, Vice President of Westa College, introduced the basic situation of the college in terms of talent training, school conditions and international cooperation. Afterwards, both sides exchanged views on the positioning planning, teaching operation and quality assurance system construction, and teacher team construction in the process of Sino-foreign cooperative education.

On the morning of April 24, the research team went to Chongqing University-University of Cincinnati Joint College (hereinafter referred to as UC Joint College) to carry out research and study. The Dean of UC Joint College, Zhang Zhiqing, introduced the basic situation of the college in detail from the aspects of college overview, party building work and schooling characteristics, and shared in detail the experience accumulated by the college in the process of exploring the joint training mode of the university and enterprises and the construction of students' ideological education and management system. Afterwards, the two sides exchanged and discussed about the education and management of party members going abroad and the cultivation of international talents.

The research focused on the construction experience and typical practices in the process of Sino-foreign cooperative education, which provided reference and reference for the future work of the College. The College will continue to improve its operation and talent cultivation system and mechanism, implement the spirit of the 11th Party Congress of the University, create a new situation of Chinese-foreign cooperative education with high quality, and cultivate innovative talents with national sentiment and international vision.
