Haide College and Department of Information Science and Engineering of Ocean University of China visited Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Fudan University for investigation and exchange

In order to further study and implement the Party's twenty Great spirits and earnestly implement the spirit of the document on the Work Plan for Promoting Investigation and Research in the Whole Party, Huang Ying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and vice President of Haide College of Ocean University of China, Song Qing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and vice Minister of the Department of Information Science and Engineering and other six people went to Shanghai universities to carry out research from April 11th to 12th. Learn advanced experiences and practices to promote the college's international talent cultivation, college students' innovation and entrepreneurship, one-stop student community construction, college system student education management and other work.

On the morning of April 11th, the research team went to the College of Agriculture and Biology of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the College of Michigan for investigation and study. Li Wenchun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Agriculture and Biology, introduced the basic situation of the ideological and political work of the college around the development history of the college and students' scientific and technological innovation work. Afterwards, the two sides had a discussion and exchange on the introduction and team construction of young teachers, student employment, international talent training and other aspects.

Wang Chong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the University of Michigan, led the members of the research group to visit Longbin Building and TangJunyuan Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. Afterwards, the two sides introduced the basic information about the work of students in the university respectively. Finally, the two sides exchanged views on student party building, academic development, international exchange programs, integrity education, career development, innovation and entrepreneurship and alumni work.

On the afternoon of April 11th, the research team went to the Institute of Engineering Excellence, Shanghai Jiao Tong University for research and study. Yao Xue, deputy secretary of the General Party Branch of Ecole des Engineers de Paris, introduced the basic situation of the school's ideological and political work from three aspects: strong foundation and multi-yuan, industry elite and global vision. Afterwards, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on the system reform of the university and the school, the construction of the faculty, the training of students, the integration of the industry and education, and the development and training of Party members abroad.

On the morning of April 12, the research team went to Ren Zhong Academy and Tengfei Academy of Fudan University to conduct research. Huang Jie, Vice Minister of Student Affairs Department of Fudan University Party Committee, introduced the basic situation and education concept of college system construction in Fudan University from two aspects: practice and exploration of college system education reform and one-stop student community construction. Subsequently, the two colleges carried out in-depth exchanges on college space construction, cultural brand cultivation, party building guidance, team entry, student participation, conditions guarantee and other aspects.

Investigation and research is the source of insightful insights and the basic skill of doing a good job. Through this fast-paced investigation, the research team has learned many successful experiences and practices of Shanghai sister universities in international talent training, college students' innovation and entrepreneurship, one-stop student community construction, and college system student education management, which provides reference and thinking for the related work of the college in the next stage.
