Life in the Academy | HaideHeart Workstation Film Screening Event Successfully Held!

On March 31st, the Heart of Haide workstation of HaideCollege held a Counselor Appointment themed film viewing event. The video watched during this event was Journey Home, and the counselor Zhu Xinlei attended the event.

The movie shown was The Longest Rescue, which is based on a true story of the evacuation of Chinese citizens. For the first time, the movie focuses on the Chinese diplomats behind the scenes of the evacuation, deeply depicting the flesh-and-blood Chinese diplomats. They were unarmed but worked tirelessly at the forefront of the evacuation, facing various life-and-death tests. With their courage and intelligence, they fought against the gunfire and displayed the responsibility and commitment of Chinese diplomats.

During the movie, the students were immersed in the real details of the film, and while watching, they deeply thought and analyzed the movie. From the emotional tension of the film, they felt the increasing strength of the motherland and understood that no matter where they are, our country will never abandon any of its citizens, even if the journey home is thousands of miles.

After the screening, Zhu Xinlei and the students further discussed the content and values behind the film, expressing strong patriotic feelings and exploring and discussing some of the details of the film.

Through the movie, the students not only learned about the art of film but also continuously understood the ideas and cultural values conveyed by the movie. In addition, they also gained spiritual relief and relaxation amidst their busy study and work.
