Haide College Holds Training Session for Student Cadres in Spring Semester 2023

On the afternoon of March 30, 2023, Haide College held its second training session for student cadres in the open space on the fifth floor of the Xingzhi Building. The meeting was chaired by counselor Zhai Yongqing, with counselors Zhu Xinlei and Guan Xuan, as well as all student cadres in attendance.

Zhu Xinlei first emphasized the importance of safety and stability work. He pointed out that student leaders should further improve their political stance, adhere to safety concepts, conduct night roll calls in a solid and continuous manner, effectively utilize the grid management model, and pass on the responsibility of safety and stability.

Subsequently, Zhu Xinlei reminded the students to beware of telecommunications fraud through typical cases, and guided the student cadres to popularize knowledge on preventing telecommunications and internet fraud among the student population, and to enhance their ability to resist and prevent fraud. In addition, Zhu Xinlei specifically arranged for the regulation of the leave process, the conduct of tuberculosis screening, and the organization of watching the program Healthy Campus in the New Classroom and other tasks.

Zhai Yongqing introduced the daily educational management work for students, with a focus on the civilized use of open spaces. The essence of self-cultivation lies in self-discipline. He reminded the students to start from themselves and their surroundings, take care of the overall environment of the college's open spaces, dormitory study areas, teaching areas, and other public areas, carry their study materials, personal items, and trash, use public areas in a civilized manner, and improve their own cultural literacy. In addition, Zhai Yongqing promoted the first Shandong Province College Student Employment and Entrepreneurship Knowledge Competition and the college's first fun sports meeting, encouraging students to actively participate in campus cultural and sports activities to enrich their campus life.

Guan Xuan reviewed recent work related to the Communist Youth League and detailed the selection process for the Advanced Collective and Individual of the Communist Youth League in 2022. She led the student cadres to carefully read relevant documents, encouraged each class and branch to actively participate in the selection process, and encouraged younger members to further develop and improve by aiming for the selection criteria.

Subsequently, Guan Xuan provided guidance on the implementation of themed activities by each class and branch. She emphasized that each branch should further explore the forms and contents of themed educational activities, diversify the requirements of theme-based class meetings and team building activities, and strive to create quality events.
