National Award Style | Steady and Promising -- Wang Wenxuan

Wang Wenxuan, a probationary member of the Communist Party of China, is a 2020 undergraduate student majoring in food Science and Engineering at Ocean University of China's Haide College. He has won the National Scholarship, the university first-class Scholarship and the university second-class Scholarship. Awarded the honorary titles of Excellent Student Leader (twice), Excellent Student (twice), Excellent Communist Youth League Member (twice) and so on; Participated in one SRDP project as a core member, and presided over one scientific innovation project of Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was the vice president of the Student Union of Haide College and the chairman of the New Media Center. Now he is the Youth League Branch secretary of Class 3 of Food Science and Engineering Class 2020 and the president of the Student Union of Haide College.

1 Thought and learning

As a young student with lofty ideals and beliefs, I submitted the application for joining the Party as soon as I entered the university. I actively studied the Party's theories and policies, drew closer to the Party organization, and became one of the first student members of Haide College. In life, I take the initiative to assume the responsibility of ideological guidance, organize all kinds of research activities, improve the party spirit.

In the sophomore year, my academic performance ranked the first in my class, which improved by 11.4% compared with that in the freshman year, making some breakthroughs and progress.

College learning, emphasis on learning methods, building thinking, establish a clear goal, lay a solid foundation, improve learning efficiency. In my opinion, it is very important to have active interaction and discussion with Australian professors in the context that Haide College adopts English teaching for its specialized courses. At the same time, we should learn the ability to sift information and materials, with thinking to learn, can benefit a lot.

As a Haide student, I hope to stand on the international stage and strive to grow into aninternational compound talent. 2 Work and practice

As the first class student of Haide College, I deeply realized the mission and responsibility I shouldered. I always set myself the standard of explorer and leader, explored and made bold innovations, committed to building a student organization with prominent international characteristics, and realized the transformation and breakthrough of Haide College Student Union and Haide College New Media Center from scratch and from zero to one.

In the sophomore year,I led the establishment of the New Media Center of Heide Collegein order to comprehensively publicize the Haide Characteristics and realize the requirements of the construction of the main front of network education, committed to building a student organization with humanistic care and international vision. Focus on building a new media matrix, create a series of original push, shoot the first promotional video, within a year, the number of public account users increased by 1700+, the cumulative reading volume of 40000+.

Now, as the president of the Student Union of Haide College, I know more aboutspeaking to students in the student Union. Combined with the actual situation of the college, I focus on the construction of three points : to serve students, strengthen the communication with overseas students; Focus on echelon construction, optimize the work system; To highlight the characteristics of the college, for the construction of the college system and international characteristics of the college

At the same time, I have always been in the front line of volunteer services: epidemic prevention and control work, welcome services for new students have my shadow; Actively participate in school level activities to improve and exercise myself; During the winter vacation, I conducted practical activities, investigated the Red revolutionary culture, and kept moving forward through learning, practicing and understanding, to hone my original mission.

3 Scientific research and competition

As a food major student, I strive to forge ahead and devote myself to scientific research. As a core member, I participated in the SRDP project SERS Precise Detection of Aquatic Drug Residues, successfully completed the experimental work, and planned to write papers and apply for patents. He presided over a scientific innovation project of Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and conducted research on the research and utilization of polysaccharide resources in Marine organisms.

The all-nighter life in the laboratory, the repeatedly overturned experimental data, the countless times of reflection, summary and start again, the precious scientific research experience has improved my scientific research ability and level, and enabled me to find myself in the failure, smooth the edges, fade superiority and settle down. At the same time, I will also produce and transform scientific research achievements, and actively participate in relevant innovation and entrepreneurship competitions. Internship experiences in different directions also enable me to find more possibilities and explore AB side of life.

Review not for coronation, just to keep the original mind, high and start again. I like a strange saying of debater Zhan Qingyun: While young, I must reluctantly. Don't be greedy, we can't have everything; But don't worry too much, we can't have nothing. Youth is the background color of struggle, grasp the present, down-to-earth, steady, can then have success.
