Notice on Organizing the Initiation of the 2023 Key Project of Ocean University of China International Cooperation in Running Schools

All relevant units:

In order to promote the construction of international cooperation in running schools, improve the quality of international talent training, and cultivate innovative talents with international vision and family and country feelings, according to the Measures for the Administration of the Undergraduate Education and Teaching Research Fund Project of Ocean University of China (Revised), after research and decision, the key project approval of the International Cooperation in Running Schools and Teaching Research Project of Ocean University of China in 2023 was organized. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1、 Scope of project approval

In 2023, Ocean University of China's International Cooperative Education and Teaching Research Project will apply for the project around the goal of exploring the integration of Chinese and foreign education and teaching advantages, cultivating high-level innovative talents with international vision and able to participate in international affairs and international competition. The project should take International Cooperative Education and Research as the theme, focusing on the integration of Chinese and foreign teaching, restructuring the curriculum system, restructuring the knowledge content, restructuring the teaching methods Reconstruction of teaching time and space, online and offline hybrid (experimental) teaching, bilingual/English curriculum construction, etc. In principle, the number of planned items in 2023 shall not exceed 15.

2、 Declaration conditions

1. The selected topic of the project meets the requirements of the scope of project approval, with sufficient demonstration, clear objectives, clear research ideas, prominent priorities, reasonable and feasible research plan, and a certain foundation for preliminary work.

2. The research team has a reasonable structure, scientific division of labor and clear responsibilities; The expected research results are scientific, practical and instructive, with a high theoretical level, teaching academic level and promotion and application value.

3. The person in charge of the key teaching and research projects at the research school level shall not be the host to declare the projects in this year.

4. All teachers can apply, and teachers who have undertaken (or will undertake) the teaching tasks of Haide College are preferred. The partner in the application form shall fill in Haide College.

3、 Declaration procedure

1. According to the scope of support for project initiation, the project applicant determines the application topic and fills in the Application Form for 2023 Key Project of Ocean University of China International Cooperation in Education and Research (Annex 1), All units are requested to send the electronic version of the Application Form for 2023 Special Program of Teaching and Research in International Cooperation of Ocean University of China (Appendix 1) and the Summary Form for 2023 Special Program of Teaching and Research in International Cooperation of Ocean University of China (Appendix 3) to chenximeng@ouc.edu.cn The submission time of paper version shall be notified separately.

2. All relevant units are requested to actively organize relevant personnel to declare, and the number of items declared by units is unlimited.

3. The Academic Affairs Office and Haide College will review the recommended application materials, organize experts to review the project, and determine that the project approved will be managed by the school. The project funds are supported by the self raised funds of Haide College.
